2Proper Filtration
Your pool's filtration system plays a key role in keeping the water clean. Run the filter for at least 8-12 hours a day, especially during peak swimming season, to ensure debris and contaminants are effectively removed. Regularly clean or backwash the filter to maintain its efficiency.
3Consistent Cleaning
Regular cleaning is essential for a healthy pool. Skim the surface daily to remove leaves and debris, brush the walls and floor weekly to prevent algae buildup, and vacuum the pool at least once a week to remove dirt and sediment.
4 Balanced Chemical Levels
Maintaining balanced chemical levels is vital for safe and clean pool water. Keep the pH level between 7.2 and 7.6, chlorine levels between 1 and 3 parts per million (ppm), and total alkalinity between 80 and 120 ppm. Using stabilizers and algaecides as needed can also help maintain water quality.
